Our HR Business Partner will be a key player in the People Operations team supporting the growth of the world’s favourite marketplace for technology professionals to buy cloud products and...

The Team: lead by our courageous Director of People Experience, EMEA are a team of highly skilled and professional HR Business Partners (3) and HR Advisors (2) who are as much fun as they are talented within their field of HR! Motivated and determined on delivering HR excellence, they're also focused on fostering a people centric culture.

But we’re not done there… 


You’ll need to be a hands-on, plate spinner who thrives on variety, enjoys technology platforms, and can juggle the execution of projects and initiatives alongside business as usual, such as overseeing payroll, policy development and partnering and developing a large field of new managers as they support rapid team growth. 


Our internal systems include Bamboo HR, Cloud Pay, Comeet, Slack, Teams, Miro, Workboard, plus a raft of other initiatives including OKRs, leadership performance frameworks, onboarding programmes, new manager training, hybrid working & remote working, eNPS, Awards etc. 

Key responsibilities for our HR Business Partner:

  • Collaborating with business leaders to understand the organisational objectives, challenges, and opportunities. They use this knowledge to develop people strategies that support the overall business goals and can represent the needs and interests of the teams they business partner with at strategic People meetings to help steer the People agenda
  • Support in times of organisational change, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring, POps BPs help people leaders navigate the change process by providing expertise in areas such as communication, employee engagement, and managing resistance whilst maintaining compliance with both regulation and process
  • Knowledge sharing with People Advisors and junior members of the People Experience team to enable and supporting benefits processes, and assisting employees with benefit issues
  • Working with functional leaders to identify skill gaps, develop succession plans, and create strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent, including enabling leaders to develop effective and engaging job descriptions and supporting elevations are successfully passed through Executive Board though considered planning in line with agreed process
  • Utilising data and analytics to drive informed decision-making. Using people metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement, they can work with you to develop strategies to enhance team effectiveness, including but not limited to identifying reward and retention strategies, workforce planning, talent acquisition strategies, wellbeing initiatives and other people-related activity
  • Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programmes, receiving peer or manager coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training

You'll be the ideal HR Business Partner for us if you have:

  • Significant experience within People Operations (Human Resources) in a consulting role to business leaders, preferably in a dynamic environment
  • You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English with a strong customer focus
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch legislation, labour law and human resources
  • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, and the ability to reduce corporate legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Business insights and financial acumen, knowledge of management by objectives, organisational (re-)design, change management and strategy alignment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-reliant as well as a team player

Education & Certifications:

  • Business or HR degree - bachelor level and above
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management and employment laws.

  • Basic salary €50,000 to €80,000
  • 26 days holiday + 8% Holiday Allowance
